About

Hi,
I am a second year Media and Communication (Music Industries) student at Birmingham City University.
Since I was 15, I’ve been dead set on being a music journalist. So, this has meant that over the years I’ve made mailing lists in offices and had to make a fair few databases.
However, through blogging, a lot of emails, and spending a fair amount of time on public transport; my experience is steadily building.
As a regular entertainment writer for The National Student, I’m now the music editor of the site. I look after the ‘Fresher Sounds’ new music round-up, write album and single reviews, features and interview musicians. Notable interviews include: Peace, 5 Seconds of Summer, The 1975, Rae Morris, Saint Raymond and Ry X.
I’ve also been published in The Guardian, Music Week, PSNEurope and From Dusk 2 Dawn Magazine and FD2D.com.
As well as this, I have experience in PR from placements at agencies and am working freelance for Seed Creativity as a content marketer.
